About Daniel

My career has hinged upon one question: is the work I'm doing making a social impact? When I attended Boston University's College of Communication, a plaque with a quote from Horace Mann hung near the entrance: "Be ashamed to die until you have won some victory for humanity." I think that stuck with me.

I'm a Massachusetts native, born and raised on the North Shore, and Boston University graduate. I spent a decade working in journalism before transitioning to government and public policy. Most recently, I've expanded my skillset by joining a digital marketing agency. Today, I want to apply the sum of my skills to missions that I care about.

When I'm not working, you can find me at small club concerts, reading a book at the bar of my local watering hole, trying new recipes in the kitchen while dancing to music, watching movies, and spending time with nephews, niece, and many cousins. My jokes run from referential to dad-level puns and I speak meme.

"This most of all: ask yourself in the most silent hour of your night: must I write? Dig into yourself for a deep answer. And if this answer rings out in assent, if you meet this solemn question with a strong, simple “I must,” then build your life in accordance with this necessity; your whole life, even into its humblest and most indifferent hour, must become a sign and witness to this impulse."
